  • For cosmetic brands, choosing a suitable bubble cleanser OEM is related to product quality and market reputation. The following provides a practical reference guide from two aspects: screening criteria and cooperation process.

1、 Four criteria for selecting contract manufacturers

    1. Production qualifications and compliance

The brand party shall first check whether the factory holds the cosmetics production license, and the scope of the license includes "cream lotion" or "face cleaning" products. The factory can be requested to provide third-party testing reports within the past year to confirm that its production environment, water quality, etc. comply with the requirements of the "Cosmetic Production Quality Management Specification".

    2. Formula development and adjustment capability

The core experience of bubble facial cleanser lies in the fineness, stability and washing feeling of foam. The brand can inquire with the factory: Does it have an independent laboratory? What is the size of the formulator team? Can you adjust the cleaning power, foam amount or add specific skin care ingredients according to the brand demand? Suggest requesting the factory to provide 2-3 existing bubble cleanser formulas and requesting samples for small-scale trials.

    3. Production process and quality control level

During on-site inspections, pay attention to whether the workshop is clearly partitioned (such as separating the ingredient, filling, and packaging areas) and whether the equipment is regularly calibrated. Can you inquire whether the factory has established a raw material traceability system and whether microbiological and physicochemical testing is conducted on each batch of products. The retention period of quality control records is also a reference for determining the level of standardization in factory management.

    4. Cooperation and delivery capability

Understand the minimum order quantity, sampling cycle, and bulk production cycle of the factory. For new brands, it is more prudent to choose factories with a minimum order quantity between 3000-10000 units. At the same time, confirm whether the factory can provide expedited services when the order schedule is tight, as well as alternative solutions in the event of material shortages.

2、 Collaborative Process for Customized Processing

Step 1: Demand Communication and Inquiry

The brand organizes product positioning, capacity, estimated annual output, packaging form (pump head type, bottle body material) and other information, and provides it to multiple candidate factories simultaneously. The factory provides a preliminary quotation range based on this.

Step 2: Formula sampling and testing

After paying the sampling fee, the factory will develop 1-3 samples according to the brand requirements. The brand party organizes internal trials or entrusts a third party to conduct stability tests (such as heat and cold resistance tests) to confirm whether the foam shape, cleaning effect and skin feel after use meet the standards.

Step 3: Sign the contract and confirm the template

After confirming the formula, packaging materials, unit price, and delivery time, both parties shall sign a contract for commissioned processing. The brand shall also sign a sample confirmation document as the physical standard for subsequent delivery.

Step 4: Procurement of Packaging Materials and Mass Production

The brand can purchase packaging materials on their own and send them to the factory, or entrust the factory to purchase on their behalf. The factory takes materials, ingredients, fills, and packages according to the order quantity, and accepts brand side on-site sampling or online video inspection during the process.

Step 5: Finished product inspection and delivery

The factory issues a factory inspection report for each batch, and the brand can sample and send it to a third-party laboratory for compliance verification. After passing the inspection, proceed with delivery and settlement.

Choosing a contract manufacturer is not a simple process of comparing prices. The brand invests time in pre screening and sample testing, and future cooperation will be smoother. It is recommended to start with small batch orders during the first cooperation, and gradually expand the order scale after 2-3 rounds of actual production coordination. At the same time, retain the samples and records of each sampling to accumulate data support for formula optimization.
