  • The OEM of essence oil involves formula, filling, filing and quality management. When looking for a factory, it is not advisable to only look at the quotation, but to check each item around compliance, production, quality control, and service. The following points are for reference.

1、 First, let's take a look at the qualifications and scope of licenses. The factory should hold a valid business license and cosmetics production permit, covering the categories of products to be produced. If essence oil is managed as ordinary cosmetics, it is necessary to confirm that the factory has the production conditions for corresponding dosage forms. Cooperation is required for the review of filing materials, production records, and labels. Don't trust verbal explanations, check the original certificates and license details.

2、 Production environment and equipment. The workshop layout should be reasonable, with separate personnel and logistics, and clean control in the filling area. Oil products have requirements for dust prevention and cross contamination prevention. Check whether the ingredients, filling, and packaging equipment match the order size, and whether they have cleaning, disinfection, and status labeling. The warehouse should be partitioned and raw materials and finished products should not be mixed.

3、 Formula and sampling ability. The factory should be able to adjust the skin feel, oil ratio, and packaging compatibility according to demand. Communicate cost, lead time, and minimum order quantity before sampling. The stability and compatibility of packaging materials should be observed for the sample. Formula files, raw material lists, and process parameters should be traceable. Avoid the practice of only providing samples without recording.

4、 Raw material and supplier management. Check the source of raw materials COA、 Supplier audit records. The specifications and shelf life of plant oils and active ingredients need to be confirmed. Raw materials are inspected or verified upon receipt, and batches can be traced. The declared language must comply with regulations and not use expressions that cannot be proven.

5、 Quality inspection and sample retention. The factory should have an inspection system, with the ability to conduct routine physical, chemical, and microbiological inspections, or entrust compliance agencies to conduct inspections. Each batch of products has inspection records and sample retention records, and the number and duration of retained samples meet the requirements. Any abnormalities can be traced back to the batch and handled accordingly.

6、 Production management and delivery time. View production plans, batch records, and clearance records. Confirm the minimum order quantity, delivery time, packaging loss, and payment method in the contract. Evaluate actual production capacity for urgent orders and do not trust verbal delivery dates.

7、 Service and Confidentiality. Labeling involves formula and packaging design, and a confidentiality agreement should be signed to clarify the ownership of intellectual property rights. The factory can cooperate with filing, label review, and quality complaint handling. Check whether the response is specific and whether the records are complete during communication.

Suggest conducting on-site inspections and verifying each item by certificate, workshop, equipment, record, and sample. A qualified factory is not about offering a low price, but about being compliant, traceable, and able to deliver as agreed. First, conduct small-scale verification, and then expand cooperation.
