The establishment path of cooperative supply relationship between isolation cream and makeup brand factories

As a cosmetics brand company, when we plan to produce a sunscreen, we establish a supply relationship with the makeup brand factory, not just by inquiring and placing orders, but by cooperating with the system from compliance, research and development, filing, quality control to delivery. Firstly, clarify the product positioning: If the isolation cream is used as a pre makeup primer, it is usually registered as a regular cosmetic product; If claiming sunscreen, it needs to be registered as a special cosmetic. Declare that the content must be consistent with the filing materials, do not include medical terminology, and do not make false promises.

The first step is for the brand to prepare basic information. Business license, trademark registration certificate or authorization document, product name, packaging design direction, budget range, estimated order quantity, target time to market. If there is already a formula idea, it can be compiled into a requirement document; If not, the factory can provide a sampling plan. Both parties first sign a confidentiality agreement before entering into formula communication.

The second step is to screen makeup factories. Check the business license and cosmetics production license, and confirm that the licensed items include cream lotion units. Understand whether the factory has the ability to emulsify, fill, and package corresponding dosage forms. View quality system documents, raw material supplier management, batch records, sample retention system, and inspection capabilities. You can request to provide past filing cooperation cases, but they do not involve other people's trade secrets. The factory needs to provide assistance in formula research and development, sampling, stability testing, microbiological and physicochemical testing, and filing documentation.

Step three, sampling and confirmation. The brand side puts forward requirements for skin feeling, color, extensibility, concealer, fragrance and packaging suitability. The factory provides samples and preliminary formula information. The brand conducts trials and evaluations, records opinions, and repeatedly adjusts. After confirming the sample, lock the formula version and raw material source. At this point, we need to discuss packaging materials: hoses, pump heads, glass bottles, and paper boxes. The packaging material should be compatible with the material body to avoid leakage and discoloration.

Step four, filing and contract. The registration of ordinary cosmetics requires the registrant, production enterprise, product formula, implementation standards, label samples, inspection reports, and safety assessment materials. The brand owner can act as the registrant or entrust the factory. Both parties sign a commissioned production contract, quality agreement, confidentiality agreement, and intellectual property ownership agreement. The contract specifies the price, minimum order quantity, delivery time, payment method, acceptance criteria, exception handling, and responsibility for returns and exchanges.

Step five, production and delivery. The factory purchases raw materials according to the confirmed formula and carries out batch production. The brand can conduct random inspections as agreed, and view production records and inspection reports. Arrange logistics after product release. Collect feedback after listing to prepare for subsequent iterations.

The conditions for achieving a supply relationship are: the brand has compliance awareness, stable order planning, clear demand, budget, and trademark information; The factory has corresponding production licenses, research and development capabilities, filing cooperation, quality control processes, production capacity, and delivery time guarantees. Both parties are bound by the contract and implement the quality agreement. First, conduct small-scale trial production to verify the compatibility and quality, and then gradually increase the quantity. In this way, the supply cooperation of isolation cream is more secure and can better safeguard the bottom line of advertising and product compliance.
