Guidelines for Finding a Factory for Skin Toner OEM Processing: What aspects do qualified factories need to consider
Finding a suitable factory for OEM toner processing is more important than simply comparing prices. To determine whether a factory is qualified, it can be checked item by item from aspects such as qualifications, production conditions, quality system, research and development sampling, raw material management, and cooperation processes. The following content is provided for reference by the brand.
1、 Verify qualifications and filing capabilities first. The factory shall hold the cosmetics production license, and the licensed items cover the corresponding categories such as cream lotion units. Understand whether they are familiar with the registration process for ordinary cosmetics and whether they can provide assistance with registration materials. The product claims should have a basis, and the label content complies with regulatory requirements. The certificates and licenses provided by the factory can be verified on the regulatory platform.
2、 Observe production conditions and quality system. Conduct on-site inspections to ensure that the preparation, filling, and packaging areas are properly partitioned, and that clean area management is carried out according to procedures. Inquire about the maintenance records of the water treatment system, emulsification equipment, and filling line. In terms of quality, understand the microbiological laboratory, raw material inspection, semi-finished product inspection, finished product inspection, and sample retention system. Certification through systems such as ISO22716 or GMPC can be used as a reference, but it depends on the execution record, not just the certificate.
3、 Check the R&D and sampling capabilities. The toner formula involves the combination of ingredients such as water, moisturizers, and solubilizers. The factory should have personnel responsible for formula development and sampling, who can adjust skin texture, odor, and appearance according to requirements. After sampling, stability testing, microbiological testing, and packaging compatibility testing should be conducted. The brand needs to confirm the sampling cycle, sampling cost, and sample confirmation process.
4、 Look at raw materials and supply chain management. The source of raw materials should be clear, with complete evidence and documentation, and able to provide COA, MSDS, and other materials. Pay attention to whether the management of raw material storage, weighing, feeding, and surplus materials is traceable. We also need to understand the packaging material matching capabilities, including the procurement and inspection of bottles, pump heads, and outer boxes. The minimum order quantity and material preparation period should be communicated in advance.
5、 Check the cooperation process and contract. Qualified factories will clarify the formula ownership, confidentiality terms, delivery time, quality responsibility, and abnormal handling methods. Clearly state the acceptance criteria, sample retention period, and division of responsibilities for filing in the contract. For quotations with prices lower than the regular level, it is necessary to verify the specifications of the raw materials and filling capacity to avoid additional items in the future.
6、 Field visits and trial orders. Go to the factory to inspect the production site, warehouse, and inspection room, and randomly inquire about operation records. First, conduct small-scale trial orders, observe communication response, production coordination, and shipment inspection. Maintain written records during cooperation and conduct node acceptance.
In short, toner OEM manufacturers should verify their qualifications, site, quality, sampling, and contracts according to their own needs, and not trust verbal promises, not just the quotation. A factory that can provide authentic records, clear processes, and traceable management is more in line with the requirements of qualified partners.
